Stretching 2,290 kilometers, the power transmission line starts at the Balikun converter station in Xinjiang's Hami, and ends at the Yubei converter station in Chongqing's Yubei district.

With the completion of Jiuhu grid construction in 2017, Gansu-based Qilian Converter Station has so far transmitted more than 14.87 billion kilowatt-hours of clean energy to other areas.

The company also will set up 65 new power converter stations in Shenzhen, and will optimize power grid structure in battling natural disasters such as typhoon.
