Sun Deshun, former president of China CITIC Bank Corporation Limited, has been indicted on a charge of taking bribes, the Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP) said Wednesday.

TOKYO — Japanese prosecutors said Monday they have indicted Nissan's former chairman Carlos Ghosn with additional charges of breach of trust, with his alleged misconduct expanding outside Japan.

It also singled out Nissan director Greg Kelly, who too has been indicted, for his alleged role in helping Ghosn avoid oversight, and said that Saikawa had signed documents regarding compensation Ghosn would receive after retirement.

While declining to comment on specifics, Deputy Chief Prosecutor Shin Kukimoto told reporters that indicted suspects are usually detained for several months.

He was indicted last week and remains in detention.

In the first 11 months of 2021, more than 20,000 suspects were indicted for illegally raising funds from the public, and around 1,800 suspects were indicted for fundraising fraud.

Despite China's strong efforts to improve control of the opioid, the US recently used fentanyl-related issues to smear the country and indicted or arrested Chinese enterprises and citizens over the issue.

Earlier this year, Li was indicted on charges of taking bribes and abuse of power.

Wang Dawei, former vice-governor of Liaoning province and former party chief and director of the Department of Public Security of Liaoning province, was indicted for graft by the People's Procuratorate of Xiangyang, Hubei province, according to a statement by the Supreme People's Procuratorate issued on Sunday.

Huang Yi, a former vice-chairman of the Yunnan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, has been indicted on bribery charges, the Supreme People’s Procuratorate said on Friday.
