Italian tire maker Pirelli launched "Being Fast Takes Time", a digital platform to build awareness of rubber tree, share the commitment to the preservation of biodiversity, and support the development of the community and local economy in such countries as Indonesia and Thailand.

The plant now has the annual capacity to produce 7 million high-end car tires and 1.3 million premium motorcycle tires.
In the past 13 years, Pirelli's Yanzhou Plant has produced more than 60 million tires.
Currently around 80 percent of production is high-value tires, it supplies original equipment tires to the Chinese factories of many top automakers, including Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi and Volvo, as well as serving the increasing demand from the replacement market.

This will further reinforce Pirelli's operations in Yanzhou, which is today among the most advanced tire manufacturing facilities in the world, focusing on the production of high-performance tires.
Marco Tronchetti Provera, executive vice chairman and CEO of Italian tire maker Pirelli, said the key to reaching a positive and fruitful experience is making agreements that are well-constructed and clear.
After being bought by State-owned China National Chemical Corp, or ChemChina, in 2015, Pirelli has widened its access to the promising Chinese market and placed it ahead of other tire makers in the Asia-Pacific region.
It plans to produce more intelligent tire products from its two existing plants in China.
Luo Peng, chief executive officer and co-founder of Guiyang Huochebang Technology Co and joint president of Full Truck Alliance Group, said the platform will offer comprehensive services for truck drivers like financial products for electronic toll collection payments, fuel and tire purchases, and loans to boost transactions.
