According to a virus inactivation test conducted by a Chinese third-party testing agency based on the latest international standards, the inactivation rate of the new anti-virus coil coating developed by Nippon Paint for H1N1 virus is more than 99 percent, which proves such products can kill more than 99 percent of H1N1 virus within 24 hours.

The coil coatings from Nippon Paint are widely used in household appliances, such as refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, TVs and other appliance housing, and various construction applications such as burglar-proof doors, room cleaning, interior decoration, hospital and railway stations, the statement said.

Once the anti-virus coil coatings from Nippon Paint are applied in places where people often touch, Nipsea Group said viruses will be killed if they stay on the surface.
